ISO 9001:2015

Why become ISO 9001 Certified?

Implementing a comprehensive and effective quality management system can help your company increase customer satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality products.  By becoming certified, you provide your customers with confidence that they are purchasing their products from a company that makes product quality a high priority.  Certification also demonstrates that your quality system has gone through the rigor of being audited by a third party, which creates a more competitive edge.

From educational learning to implementation consulting, UT CIS can help your company achieve and maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification. The training classes described below are offered in an open enrollment format or can be delivered onsite for your staff.

ISO 9001:2015 The Importance of Leadership in New ISO Standards

The recently updated ISO 9001:2015 quality standard recommends that the focus of organizational leaders must be to create a purpose for the entire organization and a direction everyone can follow that maintains an environment where employee objectives remain constant.

As such, Leadership now has defined responsibilities for ensuring quality execution such as strategic alignment, specific resource support, staffing, oversight, measurement, and promotion of the quality system.

UT CIS can help your leadership team navigate their newly expanded role in managing quality within your QMS.

ISO 9001:2015 Transition Gap Analysis

This analysis is specific to your company processes and most beneficial if you have some elements of a QMS in place. Not a requirement for ISO 9001:2015 implementation, but a major benefit is to better budget the time, money, and resources required to implement your QMS according to the ISO 9001:2015 requirements. UT CIS quality consultants will perform a review of your current ISO9001 QMS, generate a list of requirements that are not currently addressed, and develop an implementation plan to address the requirements that are currently missing.
