Join UT CIS and CMMC AB Certified Third Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO), Boston Government Services (BGS) for a virtual workshop focused on CMMC compliance including a discussion of DFARS 252.204-7012/7019/7021.This is a virtual event offered at no cost to you.

This immersive workshop will unpack the compliance and technical requirements of CMMC, answering the “what” and “why” as well as “how” to implement the required practices and processes.

Participants will gain perspective on the expectations of the DOD with respect to cybersecurity and will also be provided with clear, actionable steps to accelerate their path to certification. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to: 

  • Understand the DoD's cybersecurity expectations for members of the Defense Industrial Base
  • Select a target CMMC level for your organization
  • Identify the status of capabilities within your organization to achieve the required CMMC level
  • Understand the certification process and success criteria

Meet the Facilitator

Located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, BGS is a CMMC AB Certified Third Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO). BGS's experience includes federal agency and commercial cybersecurity services, both implementing and assessing networks against common standards such as the National Institute of Standards & Technologies (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53 rev 4, rev 5, NIST SP 800-82, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, and International Standards Organization (ISO). BGS routinely assesses DIB companies against NIST SP 800-171 and develops plans of action and milestones and plan of execution roadmaps to remediate deficiencies and increase Supplier Performance Risk Systems (SPRS) scores, as well as provides multiple training workshops to increase compliance awareness.
