UT CIS is kicking off another year of quality training with a strong line-up of Tennessee Certified Economic Developer (TCED) courses. These courses are designed to share best practices and trends with Tennessee’s economic development practitioners, private industry leaders, community leaders and elected officials.

The Philip Trauernicht Memorial Scholarship for Rural Leaders aims to enhance the development of rural leadership through participation in the Tennessee Basic Economic Development Course (TBEDC). This scholarship provides full tuition to attend TBEDC and up to four nights’ lodging during the course.
