Concurrent experience in creation, administration, training, registration, auditing, and consulting of ISO 9001, AS 9100, and ISO 13485 systems since 1995 in a variety of manufacturing disciplines; consulting since 1999.
Extensive and diverse experience in administrative oversight in manufacture of farm tillage equipment, metal and plastic containers, product packaging, military munitions, military aircraft components, and automated machining practices via positions in Administration, Management, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Document Editing / Creation / Control, Training, Process Validation, and general manufacturing processes. Process exposure ranges from manual operations to automated rotary manufacturing and filling to sophisticated CNC and laser marking equipment. Experience also includes cost accounting, process validation, regulatory compliance, advertising photography and layout, inventory control, procedural creation and training, and administration of facilities and equipment maintenance. Position titles range from Supervisor to Manager, General Manager, Director, and Vice President.
Quality Assurance Manager activities for several companies included scheduling and monitoring work and employees, product conformance, customer interface, customer and supplier location visits and audits, and company registration and representation for ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS 9100 standards. Required writing, editing, training, and monitoring company procedures, inspection documents, customer responses, Corrective / Preventive / Improvement Actions, risk assessment, and related protocols and policies.
Four years military experience as Computer Support Operations Shift Supervisor for the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) computer operations support group, the Pentagon (1971-1975). Warehouse Storage Space and Logistics Supervisor for the Army National Guard (1976-1987).
Served as Drafting Supervisor (Kennedy Space Center and the NASA start-up site in Iuka, MS) and Project Manager (Stennis Space Center), overseeing drafting, document control, and property assessment functions for those contracts. Hands-on oversight of facilities CADD systems, and oversight of multi-facility operations and employees.
Worked with Army contracts, as Process Engineer, to review, accept, install, and monitor prove-out of manufacturing and line equipment installation division for the army’s newest 155mm munitions plant.
As Senior Project Manager and, later, Vice President, administered QA program for a private manufacturer of military aircraft components.
As Vice President, oversaw design and development of automated product filling equipment.
