Promoting entrepreneurship and small business development is a growing strategy for job creation and economic development in Tennessee communities The Tennessee Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Course is designed to help economic development practitioners, government leaders, and others interested in economic development at state, regional, and local levels understand the economic impact of small businesses on local and regional economies, identify needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses and available resources to assist them, and develop effective networks and strategies to support entrepreneurship and small business development.
