Candidates for the board of examiners could also be MEP clients who wish to learn best practices proven to help organizations achieve and sustain world-class results. Please note that candidates must be willing to spend significant time serving in this capacity, including three days of examiner training in April-May 2020 and approximately 40 hours reviewing applications for the Baldrige award. Read here to understand why so many apply to be examiners.
For over 30 years, manufacturers and service providers from varied industries — including a global aerospace company, a telecommunications firm and a food producer — have used the Baldrige framework to improve their businesses. Organizations of any size or type can benefit from using the Baldrige Excellence Framework as demonstrated by the 129 Baldrige award recipients and over 10,000 applicants at the state and national levels.
