Tennessee MEP Awarded National Advanced Tech Team Grant

We are excited to announce that Tennessee MEP (Manufacturing Extension Partnership) has been awarded $555,228 as part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) grant under the Manufacturing Extension Partnership Competitive Awards Program. This three-year project, in partnership with Polaris MEP and other regional centers, will focus on supporting small and medium-sized manufacturers (SMMs) in adopting advanced technologies such as advanced composites, lightweight materials, and automation technologies.

Danny Norman, Advanced Manufacturing Consultant, will be leading Tennessee MEP's efforts in executing technology adoption projects. He will engage with regional stakeholders, contribute expertise, and support the visibility and success of the initiative. His work will help enhance the competitiveness of U.S. manufacturers by providing SMMs with access to cutting-edge solutions.

We look forward to driving innovation, expanding partnerships, and making a meaningful impact on Tennessee’s manufacturing sector and beyond.
