In order to remain a powerhouse in the automotive space, Tennessee is ready to invest in and leverage our state’s assets in research & development and human capital to position Tennessee as the premier destination for mobility and automotive research, innovation and the next generation of high-quality jobs.
The Transportation Network Growth Opportunity (TNGO) initiative, under TNECD and in partnership with Launch Tennessee and Team Tennessee, is an economic development tool designed to connect statewide research assets, communities and talent to spark new research and innovation in this sector.
The TNGO Mobility and Automotive Discovery aims to partner communities, companies and/or economic development applicants with researchers across the state to provide innovative solutions to the Volunteer State’s most pressing mobility and transportation-related issues.
This initiative is currently in Phase One: Mobility and Automotive Discovery. This is a good opportunity for UT CIS automotive clients to submit inquires about some of the challenges they are facing and what R&D / manufacturing topics are top-of-mind at the start of this year.
We invite you to participate in this brief survey. Please submit your response by February 2, 2024.
