UT CIS ED Team Welcomes New Faces

Lori Barton joined the ED team in November as Economic Development Specialist and provides program, logistics and marketing support for all economic and workforce development initiatives.  Lori previously served as the Business Manager for the UT Institute for Public Service. 

Tintin Czach joined UT CIS in January as Tennessee Certified Economic Developer (TCED) Program Director and will lead all facets of the TCED Program, including course development, Capstone Project coordination and TCED Alumni Group development.  Tintin previously served as Program Manager for the TDOT State Industrial Access program.  Tintin is a Tennessee Certified Economic Developer.

Autumn Derrick joined the team in June as Workforce Development Consultant and will lead the development and delivery of the new TN Workforce Development Academy as well as manage the Made in Tennessee Program, which highlights and celebrates Tennessee manufacturers.  Autumn comes to CIS from the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development where she served as the Deputy State Apprenticeship Director.  Autumn is a Tennessee Certified Economic Developer.

Tamera Parsons joined the ED team last summer and will continue her role as Performance Improvement Consultant.  Tamera is currently leading the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development State Workforce Board certification.  Tamera previously served as President & CEO of the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence.
