UT CIS is excited to welcome our new Economic Development Specialist, Lori Barton.

Lori has over nine years of public service experience, as she previously served as the Business Manager for UT Institute of Public Service.

Lori will be directly overseeing program operations and delivery, program administration, training and event logistics management, business development, and customer communications. Her position as Economic Development Specialist leads all day-to-day operational aspects within their area and provides advanced program support for the UT CIS Economic Development team, which provides professional development training, technical assistance and community capacity building to economic and community development organizations across Tennessee.
